I decided to go for a drive this morning, so I loaded up our dogs and headed out. I wasn't sure where I was going to go, I just let the road and the truck take me. I went down a road I normally don't drive in the winter and it was a great choice! I noticed something large on the top of a tree as I was driving by and had to find a place to turn around as I was certain it was an owl. Well.. it was and I was so excited!! There was a Bald Eagle not far away and this owl was very focused on the eagle. This was a lifer for me, never before have I seen a Great Gray Owl
